Show Notes:

It’s as if people can sense whether or not you like yourself.  Have you ever come across someone whom you could tell was having a bad day, someone who was clearly unsure of himself?  If he can’t trust himself, can you trust him?

Perhaps there’s something you don’t like about yourself, like your past.  No one’s perfect, and while we can’t change our past, we can change the meaning you give to it.  Now, failing out of a business becomes a demonstration of your resolve to get up on your feet and not let the story end there.

When you come across a problem, will you take up an action oriented and a positive mindset?  There’s a big emotional difference in telling yourself that “you don’t like how much you weigh” as opposed to telling yourself to make a plan to get fit.  We talk a lot about building relationships with other people here on the Art of Likability, but it is equally important (if not more!) to build a relationship with yourself!

Stay tuned, and stay awesome!
